The Peterson Brothers are a young blues act from Austin. They were teenagers when their album came out a couple years ago. Here’s a song from that album: Don’t You Lie To Me I saw them at Gruene Hall, a well-known venue that often hosts country acts, but also other genres. The house was packed, and while they mostly played electric guitars, a fiddle even made an appearance- talented young act.
I also saw Linda Gail Lewis later that day at Gruene Hall. Although she lives in Texas, most of her tour dates this year are in Europe, and some of her albums were recorded in Europe. She played a New Year’s Eve show in Memphis with her brother, Jerry Lee Lewis, and her musical style is on the same order – mostly old-school rock-n-roll, but some country, blues, gospel, etc. She is remarkably energetic for 70 years. She played the keyboard with her foot a couple of times during the nearly four-hour set. Interview in Sweden What Can I Do, What Can I Say I’m Just In The Middle Of A Country Song
